I have looked at a few sets now and they dont seem to play avi's very well.Is there a set that upscales the files from the hard drive?

Preferably want to go for LED as i have an LG 22LE3300 in the kitchen and im impressed with the picture it gives from files on the hard drive although it wont play large mp4 HD files.
Im thinking of sticking with LG.
I will be avioding philips as i dont like their set.

Opinions please:)
