PSN question

    I am currently downloading MGS 1 which is around 750mb, but its taking 40 mins to download, I have a 15Mb connection.

    Is PSN normally this slow?

    It can vary alot, it's especially slow if you're downloading directly to a PSP. It can be slow with large game downloads (understandable I suppose), but at least with a PS3 it can download in the background while you play a game or watch a video for example.

    The store got new content today and i got a few GB of demos and games but it was not that slow and my connection is not that fast.

    It really varies,i dl'd FF7 in a few minutes on it but i remember ff8 took an hour and a half

    You having a 15Mb connection [like myself] is not the point. UPC don't always maintain top speed. Other people in your area could also be utilizing the connection etc.

    Having said that, I normally get top speeds [about 1.3MB/s] from PSN to PS3. Never get those speeds to the PSP as it's only got a slow wifi connection [802.11b]
