Mac bk to tv?

I've a four yr old MCP and a two yr old Panasonic flat screen TV, can I connect the MBP to the tv? If so, what cable would I need? Thanks.

Similar set up to myself, with the 4 year old Macbook pro's you have a DVI output, I'm assuming the 2yr old TV has HDMI..... So what I use is a DVI-HDMI cable.

Shop around for them, I got mine in the US for around 20$, but saw them afterwards in Dublin for 60euro! The only issue is there is no sound, Do you have a separate sound system? if you do, get a optical cable from your macbook to your soundsystem. Otherwise does your TV support separate HDMI and Audio inputs?

I remember seeing some bit of hardware somewhere that linked the DVI, optical output to a single HDMI cable, but were pricy enough.
