By that I mean do they usually do a general Beautican Diploma first?.

Regardless could people here recommend good courses in Make Up Artistry, in Galway or Limerick ideally?.

    Danke schoen:cool:

    Merry Christmas to all

Beautician diploma doesn't exactly qualify somebody to be a make up artist as hardly any make up is covered on the course.

There are separate make up diploma + certificate courses certified by ITEC + CIBTAC. You can also do courses in LA make up academy

Thanks...I'm not sure about moving to Dublin for a year...would be very costly although the LA academy does look very good...There's a school in Galway that allows one to attend just at weekends...would be much easier than relocating...but I'll keep the LA Academy in mind...It is the premier college in Ireland?.

Is there generally many extra costs in a beautican or make up course?. Saw a beautican course charging E2000 but I assume there would be a lot of money required for books, uniforms, exams etc?.
