Does anyone have any tips on how to make my new shoes more comfy?
Bought lovely pair of ankle boots and theyre my size but after half hour of wearing them, i have blisters the size of conkers on each heel.
Does anyone know any ways to stretch them and make them blister-causing free?cant return them as the soles are scuffed!thanks in advance!

Does that vaseline trick work for the bit at the ball of your foot as well? Have 2 pairs of shoes from new look that I love but can only wear for an hour at most.

Talc on your feel also helps, even if you are wear socks or tights. Vasaline on the inside of the boots.

Good luck, I have felt your pain many times!!!

Yes vaseline on inside of boots and stuff with damp newspaper, this helps it to soak in further and soften them.

moisturising your feet really well helps too and wearing socks.

If I have blisters I usually put a plaster on it and wear nice thick socks underneath them and they usually stretch them a little. Maybe a cobblers might be able to stretch them?:)

I usually put moisturiser on the the heal of the shoes and also on my own heals and find it works a treat.

If you were to buy a pair of leather shoes that are comfortable right away, chances are you would be able to throw them off your feet after they are broken in.

Leather shoes stretch, so when first worn the shoes need to be a snug fit. On how to break them in you have several options.

You could wear the shoes for short periods of time around the house. Whether you are making the bed, vacuuming or doing dishes, the important thing is that you are on your feet and moving.
