Dec 23rd Newbridge to Dublin Port

I've to be in Dublin port for 7 to half 7 tomorrow evening (23rd) and I'm coming from Newbridge in Kildare.

How much time should I give myself given the current conditions and traffic volumes?

I usually go up to the M50, come off at the N4 exit and go through the city centre to the port.

A lot of time! A friend of mine took 2 hours each way to get to Newbridge from Naas and back yesterday. The roads around Naas are not great at the moment.

Ah feck. My gf works in Tallaght and finishes at two and then has to come to Newbridge to pick me up. Then we've to turn around and go to Dublin Port.

Then 250 miles when we get to Holyhead :(

Send your GF straight to the port, you get the train to Heuston and Luas to the Point. Madness bring her from Tallaght to Newbridge and back to Dublin Port.

Stay on the m50 as far as the m1 exit and take the tunnel. It'll cost you a few quid but will save you time.

I'll have stuff to bring that I can't bring on the Luas/Bus etc so she has to come to Newbridge unfortunately.

What happens if something goes wrong on the M50 as like the last few days. I'll be in a worse situation then I think.

I got the gf to text her boss and she has agreed the gf can leave Tallaght at half 1 so that helps a wee bit!
