two pin plugs

hi,

I have two devices, namely a Line 6 Pocket Pod and a Digitech Vocalist 2..



I use both for gigging and they work fine... BUT.. both have those horrible two pin plugs... so I have to get those 2-3 pin adapters and plug them in.. This raises them up off the ground and basically makes the connection unstable..

I was looking for some sort of power block with say 2 pin connections, which is then converted to a 3 pin plug.. but I can only find the reverse of what I need (i.e. UK-EU)


Has anybody got a better solution?

buy a snips, cut the two pin plugs off and put 3 pin ones on, problem solved!

Except you can't do that to those wall warts, because there isn't a wire. The prongs come straight out of the casing.

SNip the 2 pin off and it's EU to UK.

I don't know for certain if the two pin plugs without earths will fit securely in that. Ask a German or find a bigger picture.

spot on madtheory.. that's exactly my problem.. I even bought the two plugs to do it, until I looked at them a bit closer..

Yeah that pretty much looks like what I'm after.. I'll look in to it a bit further... I spose since the Germans are now dictating Government policy, it'll only be a matter of time before we're changed to the two pins anyway..
