    Swimming pool, cinema, walk in the park, astro-turf soccer... there's plenty when you think about it.

    Swimming pool and walk in the park(more like a run tho) I would do along with the gym. Cinema would be more of a weekend thing for me. Do have the ocassional game on astro turf but tis hard to wrangle a group together on a weekly basis. This being unemployed sucks :(

    Volunteer? Lots of groups are actively seeking volunteers - try the scouts, the vdp or the backstage ... most activities are in the evening.
