    anyone know where I could rent a roof box for a few weeks? leinster area louth/meath.

    Not sure but it may be cheaper to buy one even if you could find a place that rents them, especially when you want it for a few weeks. How big do you need it to be?

    big as I can get! no way I'm paying 350 quid for something I'll use only once.

    Does it really need to be a box? You could get a roof rack for a fraction of the price and just strap everything to it well.

    Thanks but no thanks, 250miles of crappy weather beaten roads later and it'll be all over the gaff! I prefer my clothes dry if possible.

    Sorry OP, in all seriousness, have never seen roof boxes for rent anywhere including car rentals.

    Have you looked on Adverts, boxes for sale or rent. Surely a 400L box & Bars for €75 has got to beat anything you could rent. You could sell it on for the same price afterwards.
