I'm arriving into the port on Thursday morning all going to plan. I was wondering what is the best way for me to reach the city centre? Bus or is there DART there? Any suggestions greatly appreciated :)

Dublin bus is the only method of public transport. It will meet you off the ferry.

If you're coming into Terminal 3 (from Liverpool, I think) you can get the Luas from the Point, which is a few minutes' walk.

If you're arriving with Stena Line, they have a shuttle to the city centre. For Irish Ferries, you can use Dublin Bus Ferrylink.
