Just looking to pick up a couple of gifts to finish off my shopping for my gf but stuck on what to get makeup wise. I checked her bag and I see that she has MAC select spf 15 foundation (full bottle so no point in getting that really) and MAC mineralize satinfinish spf 15 foundation (is this just another variation of the select one?). Also notice she has some Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation Warm Almond 45 (hey, gotta give you guys as much info as possible :D)

I'm picking up some MAC lipglass so that's sorted - but I'd like to get a couple of other things to go along with it but am at a loss as to what to get. Budget about 50e if that helps!

How about booking her a MAC consultation (or else getting her a voucher for same)? I forget how much they cost, but the money is redeemable against products.

This would allow her to get some new looks from the consultant and then buy new products

Thanks for the suggestion...not sure if she'd be overly keen on that (i.e. sitting down in front of all the other shoppers walking by!). I'll keep it in mind though!

What about one or two brushes?

Eyeshadows! You can never have too many MAC eyeshadows.

Not a bad idea but once again I don't know which ones to opt for!

But are there too many to choose from? :D

Go in and ask the girls at the counter what 2 essential brushes they'd recommend. A general eyeshadow brush and foundation brush come to mind.

Ask the mac consultant the best sellers at the mo, you won't go wrong with that. Also if they are unopened she can exchange them :-)
