Was in there, thought it was very expensive, can't see it lasting once the novelty wears off!

It's a UK Franchise. It obviously works otherwise it wouldn't exist as a business model. Let's see how it fairs in the Jewel of the Economy - Limerick City Centre.

The UK stores and the website do very well. Would have my doubts on them surving in the city centre though, especially where they are located.

Have a sneaky feeling that they may have another location in Limerick in mind to move to in the next 12 -18 months though.

Their wine gums in the UK stores are lovely. They are the same wine gums that were in most sweet shops in the 1980's. Soft and fruity.

Not sure what the Irish prices will be like compared to the UK stores.

Another excellent spot to get retro sweets is A Quarter Of...

The R&C sweets are available from A Quarter Of, but I have never seen them in a Mr Simms.

I was in there at the weekend. A great selection but it's not cheap. Try their super sour sweets. They're worth it just to see peoples faces when they eat them.

I was looking for pastman pat sweets but they didn't have any.
