I had been watching the TV show Supernatural and fell
in love with the Colt they used in the show, it left me with an urge to buy a revolver and as soon as I mentioned it on boards one of our fine retailers was more than happy to help get me over this urge.

The kind folks in SE airsoft got one of these in for me.
Its a lovely lovely piece for a collector that just wants one for display but its not really something that you would use to plink or skirmish.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Marushin brand.
They make guns that other company's don't make which is
fantastic for a collector but most of the time I am just not
happy with the workmanship in any I've handled/seen and also they don't do full metal guns since they are made in Japan. (Cant speak for their long arms though never seen one in the flesh)

The Frame around the grip and trigger housing is metal.
The Trigger, Chamber, hammer, loading gate and chamber pin are all metal. The outer barrel and upper frame are ABS.
    This revolver is Single Action.
You need to cock the hammer each time to fire.
Also the chamber does not flip out crane style like
you would see on more modern double action revolvers.

It uses 8mm BB's which is fantastic. Unfortunately
the power of the gun is so weak when firing it they barely
made it 10m before succumbing to gravity. Its very very quite to fire.

This I think originally came with a rail that you could tap into the top of the gun to fit a scope but I did not see one with mine. Did not bother me as I had no intention of using it.

The Metal shells that come with the gun are HEAVY for their size and its cool to be able to pack a BB into the front of each of them and push it down so it forms a seal in the o-ring that's in each of them. You load each shell by opening the loading gate, which also unlocks/frees up the chamber so it can be rotated. (With the gate closed a bit raises up and engages the notches in outside of the chamber so you cant spin the chamber)

The grip is plastic and looks ok, but you cant replace it with
real wood as the gas reservoir is underneath with as far as I'm aware may fit the contour of the grips.

One total shock for me was the barrel just came off in my hands. I honestly dont know if this is normal and part of the design (a poor one) or if something was wrong.
It just appears to have two O-Rings to keep it snug and just slides off.
There does not appear to be anything on the gun to secure the barrel to the frame in any way. This is just weird!

There are two grub screws one is for hop up and the other
I dont know what it does. (probably releases the inner barrel)

The Finish of the paint when you take the gun out of the box looks lovely and good, but after a very short time of handling it and using the gun it starts to come off.

You can see this already around the loading gate area
and I only had the gun 20mins

Paint work on the barrel has some rougher areas where
    the finish looked powdered.

^^ top down view vvv gibberish on the barrel.

All in all, lovely piece for the collection happy with the look of it, The Colour I actually like its a shame about the durability of whatever paint they used.
If it was full metal and the power was higher it would have
    been superb.

(I may spray this with Games Workshop Matt varnish, that stuff is amazing for giving a dull
look, so it may make the plastic wood look more realistic and protect the paintwork)
