Confused -Mains working, pump pipes Frozen ??

    Hi, Please can someone try and make sense of this for me.

    Some of the water are on the mains and their is a pump in garage .(live in countryside) The switch for pump is dodgy and needs replacing but if i tap it , it comes on !!!

    The water in the en suite seems to be separate from the other bathrooms and 2 days ago , the shower dosn't work and the cold tap and toilet dont work but hot does. In kitchen sink the cold dosn't work but everything else does.
    Is this frozen pipes and wait it out or is this the pump switch( I have tried tapping it, light comes on but nothing happens ?) or an airlock ???

    At the end of the day , I am very confused and just need to know do I need a plumber ( hope not !!)
