It appears some Identification flags have changed recently, some user with Philips TV's lost the radio channels recently. What TV/STB have you got ?

Have you tried a factory reset/rescan ? Try it if you haven't already done so.

Depending on make and model you may need to set the audio to pick up English audio over narrative audio

Its a Panasonic, probably. Narrative default problem on pani g10s/pz81s/lsd81s.

Click the options button and change to eng.

Thanks for all the replies, the TV is a LG47LF7700, I did a rescan, without success.
I will take a look at the audio settings.

Look at page 89 and 92 of the manual

On page 89 it shows you how to turn the Audio Description off.

On page 92 it shows the various options for language selection for hard of hearing. I am guessing MPEG should be the one that sorts this for you. Fiddle with each option. In theory this should sort the narrative default problem.

Not meaning to be pedantic STB, but this has nothing to do with "hard of hearing". Audio Description is a narrative describing the action (alongside the audio track) for the visually impaired viewer.

Hard of hearing viewers use subtitles or the broadcaster provides a signed version of the programme where the signer is overlaid on the main picture.

This LG model (I assume it's the combined Freesat/Terrestrial model?) was bought by lots of people looking to combine their satellite and terrestrial reception (was looking for one myself) and I would have thought that there would be lots of posting should they suddenly stop working with Saorview. As STB has suggested, your audio options may be picking up the narrative / Audio Description track on TV3 and TG4 by mistake (which is a silent track at the moment) or there is something peculiar in the RTENL stream which is throwing off the receiver - if so, there will be more postings from disgruntled posters!
