Do you want to go down the route of marinated chicken, glazed ham? Or are you looking for a different bird?

Thanks everyone. Was trying to avoid bird but husband has just arrived home with a voucher for a poultry butcher! Not sure whether to use it or keep it for after christmas.

Husband has said he would prefer a non-bird dinner. Maybe somekind of beef or lamb cut or maybe something else??

Confab has good suggestions there if you wanted to do one of those.
Or you could go for rack of lamb type cut?
