Looking for 924 driver's door

After some upsetting vandalism, I need to replace the driver's door of my 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo. If you know where I can source one, please get in touch thanks.

Any colour door in decent condition will do (I already have a working electric mirror, window glass, and doorcard), my bodywork guy will do the rest.

Just had it completely restored and got it back 3 weeks ago like new, when last week someone intentionally rammed it in a private level of a multi-story parking garage. Jealousy?

I just found a few on eBay that are very reasonably priced, but I'd have to ship them from the UK. Still worth it, if I can't pick one up here.

Did you try Traynors in the North? I believe they are the biggest dismantlers on this island. Their delivery trucks do a route through the republic a few times a week. I know they have two 928s for parts, surely they must have at least a dozen 924s

Bloody hell. They went to a lot of trouble. I know it's sounds lame but they could have gone so much further.

I hope you called the cops because even if there wasnt cctv footage of it happening i bet there's footage of the entrance/exit of the lot and you might be able to figuer it out based on time and possible front end damage.

The police in Limerick have the CCTV footage, which is dark and distant. They're doing their CSI Henry St on it and they'll let me know if they find anything.

Insurance said they'll cover it, there's a mention of malicious damage in the policy. Unfortunately, I hadn't updated the full replacement value since I had all the work done. That's a reminder for anyone else!

Big shout out to the great VanhireBoys. He dropped off a decent door the other day, and my bodywork guy says he'll have it sorted no problem.

I'll be sure and post pics when it's done. Thanks to all who offered help, I'm sure there'll be more crises in the future.
