SmackDown (LIVE) - 21/12/2010 *TLC Spoilers Inside*

According to a report by PWInsider and the USA Network's schedule, SmackDown will be airing live next Tuesday on the USA Network.

In its usual spot, Raw will anchor the evening on 12/20. No big deal there. However, the Christmas Eve edition of Smackdown is going to air live on USA on Tuesday 12/21 from 9 to 11 p.m. This is a brilliant move and will benefit both parties. USA will get an original show that will probably do a better rating in the key demos than their regular programming while WWE will get more eyeballs watching their show. Obviously, a lot fewer people will be watching Smackdown in its normal Friday slot since that is Christmas Eve.

Hopefully Sky will show it live

So just to let everyone know, Smackdown is being aired live on Sky Sports 3 tonight/tomorrow morning at 2:00 am.

Should be a decent enough show with our new World Heavyweight Champ, Edge. It will be interesting to see where they will take it from here. Will Kane get a rematch or will they lead up to a new #1 Contender for Royal Rumble??
Del Rio showed he can stand up with the big boys at TLC so could lead to him going for the title. Or maybe Mysterio might wanna get payback on Edge foe the Spear he gave him.

The IC Title scene could get interesting after what went down at TLC. I could see a rematch for the title tonight with Kofi or Swagger winning it.

Dolph and Vickie v Cena as Ziggler made the challenge: Vickie said she would make it happen but also added herself to the match.

Last week on Smackdown they said Zeke was coming to Smackdown, his profile has moved on wwe.com.

Also Its Orton v Miz on Smackdown as per RAW GM.

Aye, they just drafted him without any reason, can't say I am to annoyed he was getting lost on Raw and Smackdown needs as much help as it can get.

thats what I was thinking knew about the Ziggler bit but Zeke seemed to not make much (storyline) sense. He is probably better off on SD though

Besides the Del Rio & Swagger vs Mysterio & Kofi match and CM Punk attacking Barney that was as bad as it gets.The main event was incredibly boring. Thank god the kids make noise otherwise i'd of been hearing nothing but Striker & the bipolar Cole.Judging by the amount of activity i'm the only one who had to suffer those last two hours.

well, at least Cena kind of sold the chair shot for a bit longer this time. Why was Punk in wrestling gear though :P

Also, why not have Punk cost Cena the match? That way, Ziggler gets a massive win (and we have a possible person to build up for the rumble, even if he won't win ultimatly), Vickie gets to gloat, and Cena has been wronged by Punk with more than mildly irritating chair shots....

You are forgetting the first rule of The John Cena Show, he must not lose :pac: But seriously, that would have been a good idea. No reason why they could not have booked Vickie to distract the ref and have Punk cost Cena the match.

Actually starting to enjoy Ziggler in the ring. These past two nights have been good for him. Needs to get rid of Vickie though. Wreck the head.

Would have been a whole lot better if Cena had lost the match to be honest via a CM Punk interference. Would give Ziggler a bit of a step up methinks.

Sh*t SD though. Those Big Show skits tonight and TLC were bollocks. If they're gonna start a feud with Big Show and Rhodes, then I wish they'd go about it another way.

The reaction to the ''unpredictable'' new babyface world champion was terrible,Edge is now almost as stale as John Cena,and unfortunately his awful feud with Kane looks to be continuing.

Wouldn't have been hard in fairness,but what I mean is that I find himself and Edge's characters very boring,they both just seem to be going through the motions and doing the same old stuff over again.

I would disagree with you on Cena but I do agree with you on Edge. I like the guy but something's just not quite there at the moment. I think the fact he flip-flopped from face to heel and then back to face this year has hurt him quite a bit. I thought at the time turning him heel was a bit premature. I wish they had tried him as a face on Raw and seen where it went.

They were constantley saying finally John Cena is back yadda yadda yadda and while many will use that as a negative thing to beat the WWE with I actually think that may be the plan in as much as Punk made light of his firing and him not actually being off the show from commentary. I imagine he will cut a promo about this as one of the key reasons why he attacked Cena, he will be made the voice of the Anti-Cena brigade except unlike Nexus he will be someone that half the audience will want to get behind in his campaign against Cena. He will probably cite he farewell speach calling him a hypocrite etc

thought the tag match between Del Rio/Swagger & Kofi/Mysterio was great and honestly do give the WWE credit as despite giving Cena the victory Ziggler was madde look really good the past two shows and the IC title is gaining a bit more respect in recent times similarily to how Danielson has returned some prestige to the US title on Raw.

- Last night's WWE Smackdown, which aired LIVE on the USA Network, scored a 2.5 cable rating. The show, which normally airs on Friday's on the SyFy network, has been averaging around a 1.7 cable rating.

Big number, been live probably helped but to be fair they went out of their way to promote it on Raw.
