Micro HiFi with iPod/iPhone Dock?

    Looking for recommendations for a decent Micro HiFi (Or at least some way compact!) that has an iPod/iPhone Dock integrated.

    - The point being that I don't see the point in just having a Dock and no radio, CDs, etc when the iPhone has been removed and so on.

    Budget is no more than ~€200 (ish!) Bricks and mortar preferably as was going to buy as a Christmas present.

    This type of setup!!!

    I'm using the iPhone 4 by the way if that matters.....

    - I had noticed that when I test drove some of the Docks in the Shops I got the below:

    "This accessory not optimized for iPhone you may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength."

    - IPhone did charge and was operational - So do I care if I see this message?

    I bought this bad boy in Argos the other day. Perfect for the kitchen. Very slim, and can be wall mounted. Good sound from it too.

    Can't see the image you posted as I'm in work..ebay stuff blocked.

    But from what you're asking, I don't think you can. Don't remember seeing any inputs/outputs on the back of it.
    I'll defo check when I get home though.

    No external connections on the back I'm afraid.

    Also don't know if it'll work with the iPhone 4, but I'll know that on Saturday! :D

    Hi, I've been looking at this one. its on sale in currys E200. i like the way the ipod/iphone gets consealed by the face plate and its iphone compatable unlike a lot of stuff out there.

    Hey Folks!

    Am extending this search to include these type docks:

    Kitsound-iPhone-4-Dock-with-Audio-Line-Out-Port-Black-0.jpg

    Advantage being that you can pick any HiFi you want and Aux it in. Also Stereo could be mounted up high to be operated by remote control and audio cable run to it from Kitchen counter top etc.?

    - Disadvantage would be losing ability to skip to next/prev track without manually hitting button on iPhone screen.

    * Edit to add that I'd like to be able to leave on the official Apple iPhone 4 Bumper......
