Can anyone confirm the deal on insurance on a renovation project?

    - Looking for short term no frills cover at a reasonable price for about 8 weeks or so.

Can't just get normal insurance now as House is currently unoccupied so they won't even entertain me.

    Thanks!

When I did it last year, found the same thing but, after a lot of searching, I got an Extend & Renovate insurance. From a national company in the end. Beware though, their rep was clueless to building terminology so there was hassle but it was sorted. I also came across a smaller firm in the SE who would do either Extend or Renovate cover for the same price/spec.

    PM if you want details.
