    http://www.irishcentral.com/news/Ten-Irish-politicians-who-spoke-for-less-than-four-times-in-Parliament-112235754.html

it seems that Bertie hasnt uttered a single word in the Dail this year, and all the Kerry gobeen had to say is:
“Why should I go crawling to ministers with my problems across the floor of the house when I can go directly to them?”

Michael Woods also spoke only once, and Eamonn Scanlon isnt much better, only speaking twice.
In fact the entire top ten quitest TDs are all FF or independents supporting the government.

It's rediculous that we're paying vast travel expenses for these guys, for them to just fill the benches, and sit there looking all smug.

They have nothing to say that would be worth listening to.

Not making excuses for the independents, but they don't get as many opportunities to speak as those in the established parties.
And ( on rare occasions) when they have something useful to contribute, they are denied by the Ceann Comhairle.

Not that this in any way justifies their pathetic record.

As for Bertie - be thankful for small mercies.
That gob****e has said enough in the past, much of which got us into the mess we're in now.

    He should be permamuzzeled.

Bertie has barely even attended the Dail, let alone say anything. When interviewd by a Polish magazine recently, they asked him what he's been up to since he left the Taoiseach's office, and he answered with something to the effect of 'Ah sure I have alot of time on my hands now'. So basically it seems he's being paid a cushy salary plus expenses to do little or nothing at this stage. Though considering he's a useless lying slieveen maybe we're better off that way.
