I am a little paranoid at the moment that our CH pipes will freeze, heating is on from 4am-8am and 4pm-late but to be sure would it be worth leaving the pump running full time to keep the water moving and stop it from freezing?

Yes, on systems with frost protection running all pumps is the first stage, at the second stage the burner would fire.

frost protection is in the boiler and it when the temp in the boiler get to low it will kickin. your pipes in the system could still freez up.
