anyone know if anywhere in Limerick sells starbucks ground xmas coffee in bags. was in dundrum 2 weeks ago and queue was too long to wait. I love the smell of it, but being honest prefer the nespresso pods for neatness. damned if I'm driving to dublin again.

Xmas Coffee generally has some cinnamon as a guaranteed ingredient but different blends have different spices in them. Generally they will use similar ground coffee beans but just add a little kick in the roasting process.

If you want a Christmas Coffee then get a Gingerbread Latte or Minced Pie Latte when you are out an about.

Lots of places are doing the Gingerbread.

The Sandwich Shop on Thomas Street.
Esquires in the Parkway Shopping Centre.
Cafe Brunch on Upper William Street.
Quigleys if you ask nicely across the city.

It's only a syrup flavouring. Simply add whatever flavour you want first and then make a Latte or Cappuccino as normal on top of it. The skies the limit really with whatever flavour you would like.

Gingerbread syrup, latte with ground gingerbread biscuit on top
    or
Minced pie flavour, latte and ground down mine pie casing on top.
    or
Spiced Orange, hot chocolate and steamed milk with a shaving or orange zest on top.

    Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm

That's a nice machine you are buying there. I just gave back my two Coffee machines last Friday to the courier as I'm leaving the job so I will have to buy my own Coffee from now on on the street like a bum.

I would always try to get a Single Origin Coffee and fresh, not anything from a supermarket because it's not fresh.

There is a place in the market, not Ponaire but on the side of the market whom sells Badger & Dodo. Brock who roasts this Coffee in Fermoy is a master roaster and really knows his stuff. Pick out a blend or single origin and get them to grind them for you, bag and take home. :D

Tell them some lad from Matthew Algie Coffee sent you and demand an industry discount(made up discount btw)

Boots sell the Xmas blend in a gift set. Comes with mugs and cookies if I remember correctly. It was a lovely pressie. Probably a better chance getting it in the Boots in the Crescent or Childers Rd. :)
