Where to buy Tar

Hi All, I have a felt roof that needs some repair I would like to buy some tar and repair it but where is best to get tar I have plenty of felt for the job just short of the tar. Thanks for the help

Its not tar you need, its bitiminous primer , can be got in any hardware store , you will also need a gas torch.

Word of caution - Always have a bucket of water nearby when using torch on felt.

Had a near disaster one time when the primer took off and its not a nice thing to happenn.
