    ive started seeing a girl who is 3 years older than me. im 26, she is 29. is there anything wrong with that?

    She's only 3 years older than you, I wouldn't call her a cougar.

    not at all. If you were 21 and she 24 it may be unusual but still not a problem. you're both 5 years older so its completely fine

    :rolleyes: Ah come on now OP, how can she be too old for you, you're 26 and she's 29, it would be wrong if you were 14 and she was 17 but that's going to the extreme, I would imagine the only problem you guys will have is that you're too immature for her, for you to even think the age gap is a problem would definately indicate so.

    It's not a problem at all. My 24 year old brother is going out with a 29 year old woman and has been for a few years now.

    OP here.....

    maybe i should have been more clear. i have no problem with the age. it doesn't concern me at all. but she keeps raising it in conversation. im starting to think she may have a problem with it and that upsets me cause i really really like her.

    any advice on how i can ease her concerns?

    Op i am 30 years of age and my OH is 28..........he loves the fact im slightly older than him!!!
    And in actual fact people always think he is older :) which i love!!! hee hee
