    just wondering is it actually worth it?
    In the northside of corkcity does anyone know what its like in that area?
    Is it fast?

    "eircom mobile" now rebranded eMobile is just Meteor for older people. (That's eircom's product brand thinking).

    Mobile isn't Broadband. No-one can tell you if it will be 0.1Mbps, 6Mbps, vary between those of an evening, be fine now and terrible in 6 weeks time.

    It's best use is if you need a Mobile Service, complementary to real Fixed Broadband.

    It's not a broadband solution or replacement. If you need Internet access on the move, then it might be worth looking at, though Meteor's 3G network is very patchy. If you want home broadband, then get a proper home broadband product.
