Betbidder New Site

I got an email about this couple of weeks ago and have been watching it ever since.
It's done on the same lines as madbid.
You buy bids and winner gets a "cheap" item or in betbidders case, a bet at high "odds".
On betbidder, the winner gets the cost of the bids refunded.
Bids cost 65p each Sterling  about €0.84 cents.
The only people who are making anything out of this are the company and the winner of the auction.
It's great if you win the auction, not so if you dont.

Take the auction on the 9th December.
England to win the Ashes €160.
Winner of the auction was lsek.
Cost €5.05 and he gets all his bids refunded, the losers don't.
So odds are 160/€5.05 so around 31/1, Free to the winner.
€5.05 adds up to about €360 which the company gets for the cost of the prize €160, this will increase as more people join up.
If you were in a bidding war with someone, both parties would have to keep going as the winner gets refunded and the loser doesn't, betbid gets all the losers bid cost.
There is a limit to the number of bids allowed but didn't bother going into them in any detail.
I'll be staying away for one.

The average Euro cost of our bids is 70cent.

According to the website each bid is 0.65p Sterling which is approx €0.79 cents.

We have had 209 auctions over the past 5 weeks. The winning auction prizes have ranged from €0.01 to €6.06. The prize values have ranged from €110 to €5,500. Our site is based on the same penny auction concept as madbid, but that is where the similarity ends.

100 bids at madbid is €27.99
100 bids at betbidder is €70.00.

Where has this website gone? It has not been available for the last few days and is advertised to be online with bigger and more prizes! I do enjoy the odd flutter on it and have missed it for the last 3/4 days.

I do enjoy the odd flutter on it

    Why?

    The bids are very expensive.
There are very few prizes every day.
I'd surprised if they were doing any business but maybe that's why they are doing something with the site?

I just allow a certain amount and so far have not lost on this site - gained some but all seems to be gone now......it's really disappointing! Probably expensive enough but if you go into a bookies it can be just as expensive with usually lower odds. My opinion - I am in no way saying that anyone should be on this site, its up to all of us individually to make this decision. I really was just wondering where it went, how long it will be down and if it will be back?

Just thought others would be interested in this! I did as asked and got some of my money back......if you want to, I think you need to contact him asap because he told me the company's going into liquidation tomorrow! Here is the link and put in all information that is asked for:

    So disappointing though!
