I've my iphone 4 set up on computer. G/F is also going to be getting one in the next week or so. Wondering will it be possible for me to set hers up on mine?
Obv I know any app's that I've purchased won't be able to be transferred etc.

Also, will she be able to set it up on a second computer so that when I show her how to use itunes, she'll be able to work away herself?

Create a second account under control panel and have her set up hers using iTunes on that. For the music/apps have them in a shared folder on the computer so both of you can access them from either account.

As for on a second computer, someone else will have to answer because I'm not too sure.

OP you dont need to to create a second account, you can use your own account that you have already and any music and apps you purchase can be added to this phone without any additonal charge, its done by account not iDevice. In app purcahses are different are device specific

Im not sure on the actual numebr but I think you may able to authorise 5 or 6 pcs with the one itunes account.

As for setting the phone up on your PC, no problem there, just make sure ot name it differently to the name you gave your iphone.

Usually the naming convention is <yourname>'s iPhone. then you can back up0 and sync with the one PC no problem I have had an one time or another had six iDevices all using the one PC.

    No issues there

Thanks for the info. Basically, I just want to get some music of mine onto her iphone, get her a few apps that I've purchased.

So I just plug in here iphone when she gets it to my computer and rename it? Do i have to authorize anything?
