iPod Touch Problem - Only experts ;)

My ipods turn on button doesnt work but I can use the home button so not that much of a deal. the real problem is when I use my ipod the sound symbol comes up and doesnt go away. I cant see the screen properly because of this. Please Help :D

try restoring it in itunnes make sure you have a back-up of all your music
