    I have a fox trap for sale very solid construction bought from claremorris poultry supplies I paid €175 for it 6 months ago.

    What do you use to bait it?

    I bait it with anything, the pic above was baited with one of my hens the little bstard killed a few days earlier, 3 were killed and only 1 taken so I presume he was on his own.

    Normally i would bait it with rabbit or birds I always tie them up as they seem to know the trap is set and just reach over and gone, also had a few cats and a neighbours dog in it. When I skin or gut pheasants woodcock or duck I sometimes leave the inards about the trap to entice the red fella in.
    I gave the last lad a sporting chance, took out the hornet with 1 bullet in the chamber, I said if I missed he would go free, but that was never going to happen hit him right above the left shoulder dead as a dodo.
