Vestel make the Walker. They make the insides of lots of well known "brands". I've no idea if the Samsung or LG are better. They have a reasonable reputation and rumour of Samsung having Certified sets soon. Which may or may not be existing models.

If the TV does all the stuff on RTE NL's list then it's a low risk

The whole point of Certification is to take out guess work. You're hugely more technical than average TV buyer, so I'd say you can compare the specs and make a judgement.

    Thanks Watty.

I was just wondering was there any horror stories about the walkers and so far there doesn't seem to be.

It's just a cheap set for the bedroom so it should be ok.

We've had a big LCD HD Walker a few years now and it's pretty good. No complaints at all. We don't watch DTT on it though and I'm not sure if our model supports it but as a TV it's great.

We've had a 19inch Walkers LCD for the last few years with no issue. We've just got the inlaws the certified equivalent for christmas actually.

    Hi

Thanks for the replys I got a 22" Walker LCD and It seems ok so far, I have emailed them with some questions and the got back to me with an offer of a phone call, But I could not get to take the call se we will see what the are like when I contact them in the new year.

My issues are to do with the EPG and its being a bit unstable.
