    So what did you think?

Danielson still got to put on his PPV opener but this time in a dark match

The main event was the Cena Barett match and not either title match.

Edge is now a 10 time world champion!

Miz vs Morrison is set up for the Rumble after Sheamus and Orton both failed to win.

Dolph Ziggler, Santino & Kozlov all retained their gold and the face Divas were also victorious.

We got a Dashing Big Show promo which imo should have been earlier in the night not after both world title matches

    IMO.

The Inter match had a good finish, but it should have been ziggler and swagger pulling the belt off, both dropping both claiming to have win.

GM/Ref chimes in and says the match is to restart as there wasn't a definite winner.

*Also BH, slightly off topic, but an idea for next year could be in every aftermath thread, have a rating poll.

1-5 stars for example? Then at the end of the year we could have a ppv of the year award/worst ppv year of the year?*

I'm on my phone ATM but I like that ideas so I'll add a poll when I get back later.

On a separate note was I the only one to whom cena's beatdown on wade came across as hellish? I mean it was unnecessary as barett was already down, out and defeated.

Really, really, really enjoyed the show. Good way to close off 2010.

The IC title match was good. The Ziggler finish was original though somewhat confusing; I thought they were going to run a story where because both Kofi and Swagger pulled the title down, the match was a draw and thus Ziggler retained. Still right result in the long run.

Orton vs Miz had a brilliant final five minutes and I loved the ending, especially since it protected Orton but gave Miz a clean win. The TLC was decent.

Morrison vs Sheamus was MOTN for me. Great story telling despite Sheamus' limitations in the match and I cant wait to see what miz and Morrison do together.

Cena vs Barrett.....see, here's the thing. That was the right result and was a great blow off match. my problem still lies with the fact it came about 3 months too early. Still, hopefully they can seperate the two from each other for a while. Move Nexus into a feud with Orton and let Cena focus on the Rumble or something.

poll added, out of 5 stars how do you rate this PPV?

I gave it a 3.5. I thought it was great overall, but would have been so much better had more time been put into what match should have went where!

I think its unfair that Miz, although champion, still has to play second fiddle to Cena - his match should have been after that one.

Sheamus vs Morrison was a brilliant match, MOTN for me without a doubt. Really enjoying watching Sheamus tbh!

Diva's was surprisingly entertaining, usually have no interest in their matches!

3 great matches. Morrison - Sheamus was one of the best matches of the year.

Didn't hate the Smackdown 4-way that much despite Rey and Kane being involved.

Barrett is an awful wrestler to the point where it ruins any interest I have in him as a performer.

To be fair Vince always tries to send the crowd home happy by having a face win to close to show. Ideally it should have been the 4 Way that closed the PPV last night as Edge won the title but I suppose they felt Cena crushing Wade was a bigger deal.

The show was solid if I was a bit numb to tables, ladders and chairs towards the end.:pac:

The Sheamus and Jo Mo match was the highlight for me, Sheamus has done a wonderful job in elevating Morrison I must say. Its now up to Jo Mo to connect with the crowd with the mic, the Royal Rumble feud with The Miz could be a career defining moment for him.

The 4 way match was fun, although a lot of the bumps weren't sold that much but heh Kane is no longer champion so I am happy. He has got his sympathy reign which was abysmal hopefully the internet is happy and he can go back to rotting in the midcard. :)

The divas match was good although I did grimace when I seen Beth nearly landing on her head. Natalya improvised well with the table botch as well.

The opening IC match was good, it was short enough which I expected as their was a lot of matches. The ending was a bit silly, but heh heels normally win by fluke so not to shocked really.

The Miz and Orton match was ok if predictable, I don't mind Miz been an opportunistic cheating champ like Edge or JBL really.

I expected Cena to come out on top against Nexus, but I hated it how they blew of the feud at a B PPV. They could have dragged it out till Mania, but oh well.:o

Sink or swim time for Morrison, I'm expecting a huge step up in promo quality from him during this pending feud with Miz, and I suspect that Vinnie Mac is expecting the same.

I like the idea of the poll on the aftermath thrread.

Will Triple Edges backstage politicking to overtake Flair ever cease :p?

    3.5

Enjoyed the IC ladder match up until the finish,it should have been given more time though

Diva's match was ok for a divas match, the unplanned finish was good.

Tag match was passable, had no interest in it though.

Morrison vs Sheamus was match of the night for me,some great spots and bumps and did Sheamus no harm even though he lost.

Miz vs Orton was poor but I had expected it to be,the first finish should have been THE finish and the match should not have been restarted

TLC fatal four way was good, could have been better, some nice spots and bumps again(Del Rio's big one was awesome)delighted that Kane finally dropped the title and am happy enough with Edge as champion as it keeps my faint hope of a E vs C mania title match alive!

Big Show/Rhodes segment was ridiculous for a PPV,if this appeared on free TV I'd change the channel so no way should I be paying for it.Also inexcusable that this got on PPV and Danielson didn't.

Had little or no interest in Cena vs Barrett, but no way should it have main evented a PPV called TLC which feautured a TLC World Championship match!

Overall decent PPV but I still regret spending money on it,considering that I still have to buy the Rumble,Elimination Chamber and Mania!

Is Cena's feuding with Nexus and Barrett over now?

i honestly cant imagine it being able to keep going now.

Why Cena and Wade was the main event, I'll never know. Ok, fine the whole Nexus thing really did drag out and Cena is a major face for the WWE but surely a WWE Championship match or even the Heavyweight Championship should have topped the bill.

The diva's match was actually enjoyable. I usually never really pay attention to those matches but I liked it.

The Intercontinental match was quite decent too and a good opener. Like the way it ended. Don't recall seeing a ladder match end that way before.

Tag team championship... Meh. Not a big fan of Santino or Koslov or Nexus for that matter so didn't really enjoy it.

Heavyweight Championship was brilliant. Rather enjoyed that. Glad Edge won tbh. Would've preferred if it were just Kane and Edge. The whole Paul Bearer thing just seems pointless now. Mysterio and Del Rio offered nothing to the match whatsoever.

Miz V Orton was enjoyable enough particularly the final 10 minutes.

Seamus and Morrison was easily the match of the night for me. Epic stuff and enjoyed every single minute of it.

My biggest problem with the PPV was the placing of matches/segments like many mentioned. For example Dashing Cody's segment with Show was put on after the second world title match which to me although i like the idea of giving cody airtime seemed like something that would lead anyone who doesent really care about Cena burrying Nexus to changing the channel.

Nexus need something to focus on now because I think Cena is finally finished with them however some interaction will continue between them as they both will have the same goal after TLC, The Rumble. The Nexus will be working on their unity and the idea of a match which they can all have a part in and work together to win booking them a main event slot at Wrestlemania is just the ticket.

The Main event slot for the rumble is now filled as far as Raw goes with The Miz vs Morrison, so the rest of the main eventers will be looking at the rumble as their match most likely.

Orton, Cena, Barett & Nexus, Sheamus etc will all be built as potential winners on Raw while you would assume Kane would get a rematch in SD meaning, Del Rio, Mysterio, Big Show, Kofi/Swagger (whoever isnt after the IC title if its defended) would be the main SD Rumble potential.

It will be Very interesting to see when HHH returns now as it would seem unless it was to happen tonight on Raw (not expecting it) the next opportunity for it would be at the Rumble. Whenever he returns it will be to start/re-start his feud with Sheamus and with the King of The Ring not on a roll the last few PPVs and them now heading into 2 PPVs when Sheamus is likely to be taking part in multiple man matches it doesent seem ideal. Cant see anything other then them building Sheamus back up pre rumble and making him look like a potential winner before HHH returns eliminating him.

I gave it 3/5. Booking was fine, made sense (although I detest the Cena angle now) but no stand out matches for me. It was a pleasant PPV. I didn't pay to see it, it's barely worth my time and nobody missed anything not seeing it.

I hate the way Nexus are comedy jobbers now (i'm being sensationalistic but i mean they're on par with Santino; he's a viable threat to them) and I'm sick of boring Edge. Who cares if he has the belt? What does his 10th reign mean exactly? I can't bear to see him wrestle Swagger again... I'd've left it on Kane or maybe even give it to Ron Mastrio.

    No Danielson on the show.

Diva's match was solid (by Diva's standards) but lasted ~5 minutes too long. They also blew the excellent double-sharpshooter angle (that should've been used for Nattie's title win, or hold it off til Mania or something)

I enjoyed the interesting finishes to Dolph and Miz's matches.

I really enjoyed this show, I would have been more annoyed by the ending if I wasnt already expecting it. Have to keep the CeNation happy I suppose. Sheamus vs Parkour was brilliant and I loved the Word title match. Pity Alberto didnt win. Wouldnt mind a fued between him and Edge now for the title, I'd say they could have class matches together

    .

Its not groundbreaking booking but at least with Edge we are guaranteed a few decent matches, Kane unless in the ring with Rey is utterly useless.

I could get behind Edge v Del Rio for the Rumble easily. :)

Oh and at least his promos will be more interesting than shouting VENGENCE!!!!! and looking constipated.

I'm just trying to get this right in my head.

Nexus force Barrett to re-hire Cena as Cena says the attacks on Nexus members (bar Barrett) will then stop. Barrett re-hires Cena. Cena then proceeds to beat the piss out of Nexus at TLC anyway.

    So they re-hired him because??

Because WWE caved, welchy. (Welllllllchy! Noooooo!). In two weeks Barrett became the smartest heel, steadfast in his plan, to an idiot buffoon, reneging....nevermind, it'll just piss me off.

My earlier post sounded quite negative, but the show was quite decent (thumbs up). The booking was sound and the overall wrestling was good. I just hate Cena's new old character (comedy 'who cares' face) and boring, boring Edge. Danielson/Regal would've been real nice (as opposed to having it on RAW, but beggars can't be choosers).

In terms of overall, who cares, but for a free show in the PG Era it was decent enough.
