    Hey,

I am trying to start off doing wood carving and have been looking on the internet for which tools to buy etc. Would anyone know or have any advise on how to start out i.e. what tools should I buy to begin?

    Thanks

try getting in contact with joey burns in finea in cavan. i done acourse with him years back. even if you dont do a course with him hes pretty helpful and anything you need to know he'll help. theres a good store in dublin not far from mcquillans on one of the streets beside. they are a small store that deals in all things to do with carving and turning. think it could be mary street

That'd be Richard Gough on Little Mary Street.
