    Not a UK record but a record low for Northern Ireland.

    There are some site records for December. Belmullet and Claremorris included.
    Ballyhaise had a min of -14.4C

    -10 just now in Mayo according to the car. A very dry cold.

    UK record is −27.2 °C (−17.0 °F) Braemar, Aberdeenshire, Altnaharra, Sutherland in Scotland on the following dates 11th Feb 1895, Jan 10 1982, Dec 30 1995

    one thing ive noticed on the rain today radar there is an extreme data window, Isle of Man was 23c yesterday!!
