Ulster Counties (UCESSA) are running one in parallel with their normal prone rifle winter league. They're also running a pistol leaue for Air Pistol, Standard Pistol and 50m Pistol.

Thought I saw that for air pistol allright.
    Hmmm :)

*edit*: Actually, looking at the entry form (attached) I don't see it there!

    Dear Secretary/Club Captain

Entries are invited for The Ulster Counties Winter League Competitions:-
SHORT RANGE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- Ten shooters per division, arranged by average.
SHORT RANGE TEAM LEAGUE- Teams of three. Teams arranged by average.
50 METRE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- In division, arranged by average.
SHORT RANGE BENCHREST INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- In division, arranged by average.

Also I think Dungannon are trying to run a 50m benchrest over the winter, I'll get more details!

Sorry Floydster, it was the air pistol league bit I was looking for there, not the BR league?

I think he was answering the OP there Sparks.

Drop a mail to John Spooner if you want to find out about any air pistol options. I didn't spot any notice for it, but he'd be the man to talk to.

Here's the entry form and introductory letter for the pistol league. Also a lightweight sporter league.

Good news for UCESSA pistol league shooters who've not been able to get within a sideways bump into the ditch of their ranges thanks to the weather:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and the Members of your Club

Ulster Counties Winter Pistol Postal Leagues

Given the amount of snow that fell last month and that is now covering the UK it has meant that some people have been unable to get to their club to shoot their cards. We have therefore extended the deadline for scores. We would like you to have sent in Rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 by the end of January 2011. This will also apply to those shooters from warmer climates.

For those of you who email your results to Des Clyde he is having problems with his internet service provider and therefore email address. Would you please resend your results and send all future results to the following address:

    ucessa [ DOT ] leagues [ AT ] gmail [ DOT ] com

Best wishes for the holiday season and good shooting

    Stephen
    UCESSA Secretary
