Just a quick question, looking to get some sort of channels on my TV for short term, I dont really want to sign up to SKY or UPC as I may be moving again wihin 6 months so a year contract is out of the question, any suggestions? I plugged my TV in the wall it picked up 182 channels but obvioulsy scrambled (Strange I can get 5 of them that are not) ? I have a digital tuner on my TV so maybe a free to air box??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. To be honest Im just looking for anything more other than the 4 basic Irish channels without having to sign a contract longer than 6 months!

If you can put up a dish then free to air is probably your best bet. One off payment for the equipment and possibly installation (depending on if you can do it yourself or not) and thats it. You wont get a lot of the decent channels but youll get the UK terrestrial channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc), some in HD with the right equipment, and a lot of other stuff.

Meh! Lots of effort :D I signed up for UPC, I was assured I can bring it with me in the event I move. Thats all I really wanted.
