I just received €13 in my paypal account from a seller on ebay telling me he couldn't find the book I bought. He went to post it to me and couldn't find it so he gave me the full refund. The thing is.. I've had the book for about 3 weeks now :p

Would you keep the money or give it back in case karma comes back to haunt you?

If it was Waterstones I'd say: 'Keep it'.

But, just an Ebay seller: 'Give it back Scrooge' :p

    Burn the book.

Hitler was a big fan of that.

It will just cause problems down the line if he finds a postal receipt or something saying he posted it. Nothing to do with karma! I'd return his money.

Just to let ye all know. I've already told him about it and I'm waiting to get to an email address to send the money to. He sent it to my credit card. :)

I messed up the thread/poll asking two different questions.

What would you do if you got the money? :p

Give the money back. Karma is bulls*t but it doesn't mean we have to be greedy pigs, someone made a mistake - don't take advantage of it.

Cool seller, he thought he lost the book and went straight to refund you, giving you no hassle at all. That was nice, surely you appreciate the guy's fairness, don't you?

Throw the (burning) book into Leinster House over the festive season.

    And keep the money.;)

Burn yourself several times with a lighter. As punishment. Its the logical thing to do.

One day that guy is gonna go with his kid to buy him a bike. The little kid will pick out a lovely bike hes wanted for ages and will make all the school kids jealous but when the Dad goes to pay, he'll be €13 short. He cant afford the bike, the kid will hate his father for life and lead him to a road of drink and drugs.
can you live with that?? Hmm!?? Caus thats whats gonna happen!! :)

This guy is clearly in the wrong.
Sending you both the book and then your money back? Makes no sense at all. He is 100% WRONG. And you need to SUE his ass off.
