    Hi,
I am getting varying coverage area for flex adhesive rapid set on screeded floor using polished porcelin tiles.

    20 kg bag coverage

    Bag says 10 to 12 m2 ( Optomistic)
    Tile shop says 5 m2
    Tiler says 3 m2 per bag .

Would anyone confirm on this. The floor is a newly screeded floor and good levels. My tiler wishes to supply the adhesive but i am questioning 3m2 coverage for tiles.

    Regards,

20kg bag i sold it at 5mtrs coverage but this is dependent on the condition of the floor.

For example if the floor is very badly off and could realy do with leveling compound some tilers will use adhesive and there for it will only do 3 meters..

I always(Even though i use to sell it) rec the tiler supplies the adhesive and grout in the price they quote that way its up to them to price accordingly and they can get trade price on adhesives which can be 20% better than you

PS: FORGET the bag... They are optimestic to sell more, usually mean ceramics on a perfect surface.

Is he priming the floor... primer is cheap. You can do it yourself the day before for him and it gives a brilliant surface for the adhesive.
