Blueface, phone service and website down?

    My phone is dead since this morning and I can't reach Blueface as their website seems to be down as well. Anyone knows what's going on with them? They send an email about a system upgrade between 4-6am this morning but now it's well in the day and still no sign of improvement.

    yeah mine is the same at the moment. I tried calling the support number listed on bluefacestatus.com but it just goes to an answering service. their support has gone to the dogs lately.

    5pm and my phone lines are still down. The Blueface Status site was supposed to be there to keep us updated on site problems and it's not been updated all day. I think this is the 4th time this year that Blueface has been out of service and it's always the same - no updates at all and no way to reach them. I've had too many problems with Blueface lately. It's not practical to use them for business. The service is too unreliable and they don't communicate with their customers.

    hi my phone is still out, has been all day. I cant get on to their site or forum links either. But I was just talking (skype) to another BF user who can get onto their site though no phone. Strange as they have the same ISP as me too.

    He said the forums posts say blueface doesn't recognise a problem their end though obviously there is a major one for some.

    Has anyone got a clearer idea of whats going on?

    Maybe one of you who has accesss to the forums could pass on some news?

    hey I'm back on :).... hope thats the same all over!!!!

    Seems the problem was with IrishBroadBand and so also their resellers.

    I'm back up too. Has anyone had any communication at all from Blueface? It's so disappointing how they treat their customers. If my companies service goes down due to something outside our control (for example our phone system going down which it frequently has done this year!) then the first thing we do is inform the customers, apologise and let them know what we're doing to put things right. Every time Blueface has gone down this year they just ignore us. What's the point of having a 'status' website if it's not updated! If Ryanair cancel my flight they at least refund me. When Blueface is down for an entire day they don't even bother to let me know, never mind any compensation! Such disappointing service.

    To be fair to them - they were not down today - but their service was not accessible from Irish Broadband or from Irish Broadband resellers.

    I had no break in service ....... but I am not with IrishBroadband or one of their resellers.

    Did not receive calls today - being Sunday - but I checked at irregular intervals and all was well.

    Not a BlueFace problem it seems ....

    I'm with Nova, and they have their own service no IBB reseller and was also down all day until late evening.
