It depends what age you are really.
If you're over 23, you can still get a place in college as a mature student and choose whatever career path you want.

If you have recently left school with just a Junior Cert., you're a bit limited as many jobs require Leaving Cert. standard now, even for unskilled work. You should talk to local PLC providers (probably the local VEC) and see would they be willing to take you next September on the basis of your Junior Cert. results - many will.
