I went out this morning for a early shot with a couple of shooting buddys.
Dont know what temp it was, but it sure was crispy on the fingers.the snow had compacted down over the last few days and then froze solid again, making it much easier to walk on , but very noisy. The quad was able to drive over the top of the snow without sinking at all. Got a stag and a hind without to much bother and had them back in the shed , and eating sausage sambos in less tham a hour. The hind was in great condition and still had layers of fat on the inside, but the stag was a bit on the thin side.

looks like you shot them whilst they were in the quad and are walking in after the shot :-) Last think we need is a bunch of boy racer deer tearing around the country side on their quads :-)
    Good hunting btw

I crashed my car on the ice Friday night. Skidded at 5 mph for about 100 meters into another car. I drive a honda, and when i got out all the kids were singing about their horse outside, :-) Ebay rocks (<
    Remaining on topic! :-) )

honda 420... buckets of power and light enought that if you bog it, you can heft it a bit to get it going again.
