Library Opening hours for Day Students only!!!

    I have to say I am a bit furious.

    I am an evening student whose lectures finished up last week. I was anxious to spend this weekend and Mon, Tues, Wed evening in the library to prepare for January assignments and exams.

    I was shocked to find out that not only is the library closed today but it will close at 5pm this week and will not re-open till Wed 4th!!

    That is completely ridiculous. Are they unaware that they have evening students who work during the day so can only get to the library at about 6pm onwards??

    Not only that, yesterday (saturday) the spar, bar, library cafe were closed.

    We are paying over €5,000 for the year yet the facilities appear to be geared towards the day students!

    Don't get me started on why we are paying for printing!!

    Rant over!

    how early everything closes is one of the things that really bugs me about dcu :(

    restaurant really needs to open later, come onnn it's a college full of non morning people
