Showers and one cold tap not working

Went to take a shower this morning and discovered that the power and electric are not working, also the cold tap in the en suite where the power shower is. All other taps throughout the house are ok. The power was only installed very recently and the electric moved from en suite to main bathroom. I dont want to call an independent plumber in case it has something to do with the installation of the showers. Can anyone enlighten me please.

Probably either a frozen pipe or an airlock. Make sure you know how to isolate the cold supply to the showers, if it is frozen the pipe is likely burst and will flood the surrounding area when it eventually thaws.

You probably have a mains feed shower, so must be frozen mains water, ask nextdoor to see if there water in outside too

Have a look at this thread and theres a few other over the last week or so. They refer to low pressure or no water from taps and showers. Most likely you had water cut off, tank emptied and now you have an airlock.

Basically you need to try connecting a hose between taps ( kitchen is best as it will most likely have direct from main) with pressure and tap with no pressure. Turn both on and wait for water pressure to blow back an airlock.
