Hello, i got a dvd that is region 1 which I want to rip to my pc and remove the region or put region 2 on it so it can play on my ps3 then burn it to a dvd-r. I also want it to keep the menus/intros etc. like normal when I rip it. Is this possible? What good software out there will do this for me? Im using windows 7 also.

I'm closing this. Backing up a DVD is one thing, but burning a copy in a different region is a different one. AFAIAA it's illegal under Irish law. As long as people break the law instead of complaining about the laws on transferring content you have already paid then the rights holders will continue to be able to prosecute their customers.
