Has this happened to anyone before? In my dream last night someone said something funny and I bust out laughing and nearly choked when I woke up. Couldnt get back to sleep then because I just kept laughing. Was so wierd!

Yes a few times. When you wake up you wonder what you were laughing at.

    Yup.

I try to sing too, but it sounds like a dying animal and wakes me up.

Don't worry it could have been worse if you sang a boyzone song.

    Happened to me last night.
I can't remember what the dream was about, but I do remember waking up at 7 this morning and consciously knowing that I had been laughing in my sleep.

    It's enjoyable.
    Also, I had wood.

Apparently, according to my husband I said "F**k off Sebastian" in my sleep on Thursday night.....

..... his name isnt Sebastian by the way....

I did so once a few years ago but luckily not now! Have sleep-walked and cried/talked in my sleep the odd time but that's going back a few years. I tend to just breath very heavy....:o

Coulda been worse. Coulda been "Come here, Sebastian" in your best come hither tone...

You really shouldn't read "Brideshead Revisited" in bed.

Yeah, I was sharing a bed with my friend the other week when the snow was bad and she laughed in her sleep. She did warn me before hand.

I've done it also. Feels good when you wake up. Can't remember did I have wood. May not be connected.

If I read the Cool Vids forum before going to bed, I frequently have nightmares about The Recliner chasing me and shouting "It's been posted before!" and "Don't quote images!". He's really scary.

This happens to me a lot. My OH has woken me a few times to ask what on earth is so funny. I wake up with no memory of why I was laughing but with tears running down my cheeks and a sore belly from laughing so much!

It's much much nicer than waking up from a nightmare, I must really be enjoying the dream if I'm laughing so much. My mother once recorded me in absolute hysterics when I was fast asleep as a child, she said it was the most bizarre and giggle-inducing thing she's ever seen :D

Yep! I seem to manage to do pretty mad stuff in my sleep! I love the laughing in your sleep, it beats crying in your sleep which happens a good bit!

I talk a good bit too so much so that my sister used to get all the gossip out of me when we shared a room together!

Nah the only dreams that wake me up are nightmares that I'm screaming my head off in.
