    Ok folks,

I'm living in Dublin at the moment, I got a new job up in dunleer Co.Louth .....and not sure whether to move to dundalk or drogheda. I've been considering a move up there for a while now, and better make a move within the next 2 months, because of the new job.

I knew a fella that lived in Drogheda, and I couldn't understand a word he said, for example; "Dwaaaaaaaada" ........his accent was impossible to understand!

What do you folks think about this? ........Which place do you think would provide a better living for me?

    Move to Dunleer.

I'm looking for a flat in drogheda or even dundalk, for something cheap!

You can live in my shed. Its a bit small, stinks and has a couple of dead bodies in it but its far better than Drogheda. 90euro a week. :)

If you fancy this guy then go for it...although Dr. Phil says that the key to all good relationships is communication.

Personally I think moving to another town for someone you fancy is a bad idea and this is compounded by the fact that, as you say yourself, you can't understand this guy. Maybe you're just too different to get on.

Have you tried calling up and visiting him and seeing how you get on in just dating first? Might be an idea before you move house for him.

Either way, best of luck and use plenty of lube.

I moved from Galway to Dundalk for college.
The word "wee" and the finishing of ever sentence with "hai" is contagious and you will get slagged.
    Commute.

There's lovely villages in Louth. And you'd probably get a decent deal on an apartment in one of the bigger ones. The larger towns are kips, imho.

Pighead'll be along shortly to extol the merits of Dundalk. Such as they are.

Go Drogheda, I've lived in Dundalk for a time and didn't really enjoy it. No offence to anyone there but it's the most English town in the Republic of Ireland - yes, more English than West Britain itself!
