If I ordered now, is it likely that it will come before Christmas?

I'm not sure but I doubt it, I was looking to order something last week and was quoted Jan 14th as the earliest delivery date :(

I think it gives you a date or at least if it will be delivered before / after Christmas if you go to checkout (before you pay) so you could have a look first maybe? see what it says, but if the above poster got the 14th, that might be it. Plus given the snow etc in the UK - things will be delayed anyway.

I ordered two xbox games on the 13th Dec(5pm), it was dispatched on Dec 15th and arrived on Dec 17th using free super saver delivery.

I ordered from an Amazon affiliate on Wednesday and they got the item shipped within 24 hours including an overnight delay (my CC had been renewed but I forgot to update the details on my account) I imagine the item will arrive by Wednesday.

Even with "express delivery" (if thats an option) the weather will probably beat you now though, nothing wrong with a New Years Day pressie though :)

Had another look there, it was the Kindle I was after and the dates on that are much later, most standard stuff might be ok but as star-pants said the snow will probably add to the hassle.

The kindles for delivery to Ireland have to be ordered from amazon.com for some reason, the UK one won't deliver them here!
