Turn this image into a transparent .ico issue

    hey,

    Ive tried so many times to get this image file turned into a .ico with a transparent backround but just cant get it right... can anyone help?

    What exactly is the problem?

    I've attached a 16x16 version with a transparent bg if its any help

    when i was uploading the icon had a white backround looked bad against the grey IE tab... Tks lads sorted now

    Or you can download GIMP or PAINT.NET; free photo editing software and edit it, its quite simple. Also keep in mind that certain file types don't support transparency so if you save it as a JPG for example and then change the file type to ICO it will give it a white background.
