I'm sure that there have already been posts like this, but I can't find anything that gives me what I am looking for.

I am looking for a carpenter to do a small job in my kitchen - probably one days work.

Not looking to spend big bucks - will be replacing the kitchen in a year or two, so this is just an emergency-tide-me-over jobbie.

Anyone any recomendations? I asked a guy who I know about wks ago and he still hasn't come bck to me with a price. Its urgent at this stage!!!!

    Ta

    Hi Bunty2008,

I'm also looking for a carpenter and also in Dublin 8. Would you recommend the person you got? If so could you PM me please?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Paddy,

In the end, I got a friend of a friend to do it - but he's not a carpenter by trade. So, I don't really have a number to give you I'm afraid.

However, before I got that help, I had tried this website and got a great response: www.onlinetradesmen.ie

If you do use this website, make sure anyone you select has tradesmen insurance. Best of luck.
