You can't. That was only up to the end of September I think

as long as you bought your phone after September 30th you can call Apple up and tell them you are having reception problems and they will send you a free bumper.

Is the bumper actually worth the money anyway?

Took about 12 weeks to arrive for me though. Ordered it as the announced the free bumper and was late September when I got it. Didn't like it in the end. You can pick them up for €2 on eBay, I wouldn't waste your time for a freebie.

the free one i got is by far the nicest and most unobtrusive one i've seen. two of my friends looked into getting the same one and found that it cost $35.00 from the website

Well there is abit of a difference in lying about antenna problems to get a free case, or just spending the €2 and get it in half the time from eBay.

If you really want a good case solution, get a Zagg Shield and cheapy silicon cover. Or go the whole hog and get an Otterbox.

However I'd say they arn't going to be too helpful. It was a well discussed problem and from talking to a senior advisor, the general official line is "the problem never existed in the first place" You'll probably get one, but it will take a few phone calls and restores I would say.
